We put down a heavy layer of mulch in the beds here too. Foliage and flowers contrasted against dark soil is always pleasing to see.

This clear out was a bit tougher than it looked - a fair few small trees had been cut to below soil level making it hard to turf over. Some manual labour later and we finally got a nice flat bed to work with. The end result was really pleasing.
We saved some nice shrubs on the north facing side. Later we added climbing roses planted along the south facing border. At the bottom of the garden are some huge Buddleja forming an arch over the gate entrance.

Now, as the season draws closer to the winter frosts, we want to thank our customers for sticking with us throughout these challenging times. We also want to focus on improving our communications with our customers, and to build new relationships to take us forward in to an exciting 2022.
As part of that, this is us now on social media. (Ta-Da!)

These are sections of pipe being installed in to an area of heavy clay to aid in drainage.
A large conifer once stood here. Since it was felled the area has become increasingly wet and boggy.
Adding the pipes will give the water somewhere to drain while it takes its time to soak away.
Now we can plant something here, ready for spring!
